About the team
We’re a dual age group team, with players born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2019
We train on Monday nights at 5:30pm and we play in the Bristol Girls league and our matches are played on Sundays. Home games are played in Long Ashton either at Peel Park or Bridwell Academy Primary School.
Team sponsors

Many thanks to our generous team sponsor, Out of Hand. We rely on the kind donations of our sponsors for kit, equipment and other costs of running the football club.
Information about the team
We play in the Bristol Girls League, our fixtures can be seen on the FA Full-Time system and if you are a parent or carer you can find fixtures on Spond as well.
Match availability and attendance (Spond guidance)
Our match squads are organised on Spond, a free app for managing team availability and selection. If you are a parent or carer of a player in our team and are not yet registered on Spond please speak to our team admin or a coach for access.
Our aim is to provide access to football and as such we operate a policy of equal playing time. We aim to achieve this on individual match days and across the season as a whole.
We use Availability Requests to understand who is available for our fixtures. We ask for availability to be provided by the middle of the month prior to the fixture. I.e. for fixtures in November we ask for availability by mid-October. This is so the coaches and parents can plan their weekends in advance.
Once we had reached the deadline date the coaches will select a squad for each match, providing opportunity to all players who are available over the course of the season. These players are then invited to an Event on Spond, at which point the availability request will be deleted. If you no longer see the availability request and you do not see the match event your child hasn’t been selected to play that match.
Player kit
For training players will need:
- Clothing suitable for running around and playing football in, base layers for the colder nights and wear waterproofs when it rains!
- Astroturf trainers or trainers suitable for sports. Studded boots are not allowed on the training astroturf as it is a hard 2G surface which makes it dangerous to wear studs.
- Shin pads! (Players cannot train without shin pads)
- A drinks bottle.
For matchdays:
- Wear your provided Long Ashton kit.
- Footwear suitable for the playing surface – we strongly recommend a pair of boots with moulded studs (such as these) as these will suit grass as 3G astroturf.
- Shin pads
- Hat, gloves, base layer for cold winter Sunday mornings.
- A drinks bottle.
