Recruitment process
- Volunteer approaches Team Manager to express an interest in volunteering.
- Team Manager undertakes informal chat using questions and role profiles from the website. The crib sheet of questions can be downloaded at Crib Sheet for volunteer interview.
- Once interview completed, Team Manager completes this form: New team volunteer form.
- Volunteer receives (“intro to volunteering”) email and fills out new volunteer form.
- Once the form is completed Club Welfare Officer triggers the DBS check.
- Club reaches out to seek references.
- Club Welfare Officer checks received references.
- Club Welfare Officer ensures DBS and safeguarding training is completed before volunteering begins.
- Club Welfare Officer updates FA Club portal and informs Team Manager and volunteer.
