Role descriptions
Below are descriptions of the typical expectations of each role, although these may vary team-by-team.
Team Manager
All teams require a manager to organise the team for fixtures, lead the team on matchdays, and organise training. In many cases, the manager will also be responsible for coaching the team, helping them develop their ability.

The responsibilities include:
- Ensure all players are registered and eligible to play.
- Promote fair play and inclusivity.
- Assist in managing player welfare and behaviour.
- Leading training sessions and matches
- Providing motivation and advice during gameplay
- Help set up and manage equipment and activities.
- Developing game plans
- Representation at Club meetings where required
- Managing communications with parents/carers coaches, and club officials.
- Adhering to safeguarding policies and practices
Required Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS Check
- FA Safeguarding Children
- FA Introduction to First Aid
- FA Introduction to Football Coaching Level 1
Qualifications are fully funded by the club.
