Eagles Kick Off 2026 with a Cracker

The Eagles opened their 2026 campaign in thrilling fashion, securing a hard-fought and fully deserved victory.

The tone was set early when Jack reacted quickest to a whipped cross-shot from Leo J, steering home a composed finish to give the Eagles a 1–0 lead. 

Clevedon pushed hard for an equaliser and Leo Scull produced heroics, clearing off the line from a dangerous corner to preserve the advantage.

The opposition eventually found an equaliser, capitalising on a moment of space and time to make it 1–1 going into half time.

The second half was tight, Tommy did his Tommy thing and pulled out a number of world-class saves to keep the Eagles in the game

With ten minutes left on the clock, Archie unleashed an outstanding strike from outside the box, restoring the lead in spectacular style. The momentum surged, and soon after Boo added a third—another superb long-ranger lofting the ball over the keeper.

Every player put in 110%, showing grit, commitment, and togetherness from first whistle to last. A special shout goes to the full-back trio—Lucas, Warren, and Leo Scull—who put in a massive shift defensively. 

Only negative was poor Benji getting wiped out near the end. Rest up Benji, we need you back ASAP!
