Recently, the LAJFC U11’s and U8’s travelled to the Isle of Wight to compete in the SCI football festival.

The children played passionately across the two days and displayed brilliant skills, teamwork and determination. They were an absolute credit to their coaches and the club.

Joined by a support crew of 100 parents and siblings, there was loud and proud cheers of encouragement from the sidelines along the way.

To round the weekend off, Stuart Pearce presented the players with their medals. The families then celebrated the player’s success by partying together as ‘rockstars and hippies’.

A really enjoyable weekend for all and a great example of Long Ashton JFC community spirit! ????
